Renfrew County Warden's Golf Tournament raises $17,500 for area food banks

The Warden expressed her gratitude to the golfers and the sponsors who contributed to the overall success of the day and the staff of Whitetail for helping to make the day so special. Since its inception in 2005, the Warden’s Golf Tournament has raised nearly $96,000 for various charities and organizations across Renfrew County. “The success of the Warden’s Golf Tournament is a testament to the generosity and commitment of our community. Because of the support shown by sponsors, golfers, staff and volunteers, we are able to make a meaningful impact on organizations which need it most. It is truly heartening to see so many people come together for such important causes each year,” Murphy added.

Once the scores were tallied, a new champion was crowned — the Four Horsemen — which shot a 62 on the day. The team consisted of Dennis Lazary, Garry Davis, Pedro Regalo and Nick Preyde.
